Pick & Paint Flower Workshop at Melanie’s Flower Farm
Escape to the countryside for a relaxed, creative morning at Melanie’s beautiful flower farm in Cheshire.
This workshop is all about embracing colour, experimenting with new techniques, and capturing the joy of seasonal blooms.
Whether you haven't picked up a paintbrush since school or you create art every day, you are so welcome here. No drawing ability or previous experience is required, just a love for colour and a willingness to play.

What to Expect on the Day
A Warm Welcome
When you arrive, Abi, Roz, and Melanie will greet you with a hot cuppa and a chat to help you settle in.
Gathering Inspiration
Melanie will guide you through the flower plot, demonstrating how to choose and arrange blooms in a jam jar or tin. You’ll learn her favourite tips for mixing textures and choosing eye-catching colour combinations. Then, it's your turn to wander, pick your own unique bunch, and arrange them.
The Painting Session
Next, we paint. We make the process simple by providing a carefully pre-mixed colour palette because half the secret to a beautiful painting is starting with gorgeous colours.
Instead of worrying about making your painting look like a perfect photograph, we will focus on capturing the energy and essence of your flowers. You will experiment with making marks using unusual utensils, embracing accidental splashes, and enjoying the process of painting freely.
Fizz & Finishing Touches
We will take a break for delicious refreshments and a glass of fizz. Afterward, you’ll add the final touches to your masterpiece.
